Welcome to the Junior League of Long Beach!
For 88 years, the Junior League of Long Beach (JLLB) has provided opportunities for women to volunteer, cultivate their leadership abilities, develop personal and professional skills, and meaningfully impact children and families in our community. We are a women’s leadership organization that has helped establish a legacy in Long Beach through our pivotal role in over 60 community projects and through empowering women to be catalysts for lasting community change.
Through our current efforts to increase confidence and self-awareness among youth through character development and life skills programs, along with our Advocacy and outreach efforts, our more than 400 members are developing themselves into leaders who take on a variety of leadership roles in our community. The Junior League provides a foundation for outstanding women leaders who share a commitment to improving the community and themselves. Additionally, membership provides a lifelong community, affinity, and friendships for its members.
There is something powerful in knowing our members share joint values and goals in our commitment to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about how you can become a member, make a gift to support our mission, or become a partner, we would be honored to meet to further share how you can make an impact.
