Membership - An Invitation to Join the Junior League of Long Beach

Profile: The Junior League of Long Beach is a non-profit organization of women committed to building a better community. The JLLB reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins. Members must be 21 years or older; however, there is no upper age limit and no sponsor is required.

Location:  The JLLB is headquartered in Long Beach, California. Our members and projects reach throughout the greater Long Beach area, including: Long Beach, Lakewood, Cerritos, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Cypress, San Pedro, Palos Verdes, the South Bay and beyond.

Our Impact:  During our history of over 75 years, the JLLB has given millions of dollars in funding and service to our community.  JLLB members contribute well over 5,000 hours of volunteer service time every year.

Benefits:  The JLLB provides training for its members to develop their leadership potential and volunteer expertise.  League volunteers are known for their effective leadership, particularly in the areas of project management, advocacy and facilitation.  The JLLB is a great experience, especially for women who want to make an impact, gain new skills, and meet new friends.
