80th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign Benefitting
Children's Dental Health Clinic
Junior League of Long Beach celebrated its 80th birthday on October 30, 2011. In honor of this joyous and milestone event, JLLB has elected to present a gift of $25,000 to the Children’s Dental Health Clinic, our League’s first major project, for which the clinic will name their sterilization lab “Junior League of Long Beach Instrument Processing Center.” The gift will help the clinic purchase a new industrial-size sterilizer and a separate hand-piece sterilizing unit. This equipment is the ‘heart and soul’ of the clinic, providing an endless supply of sterile instruments that are used throughout the day by clinic staff to deliver comprehensive dental treatment to disadvantaged children.Iowa Style Picnic

We're celebrating 80 years of service with an Iowa Style Picnic! Admission to the event is $10.00 per adult. Children (12yrs and under) are free. All supporters of the Junior League of Long Beach (membes and nonmembers) are invited to join us for a fun day honoring and celebrating the phenomenal work of the Junior League of Long Beach for the past 80 years! We'll play games galore (sponge relay, egg toss, "corn hole" toss, cake walk, bocce ball, frisbee, horseshoes...) and we're proud to feature the Elm Street Band to keep us entertained throughout the day!
